Rick said that it would be fine but I found out three weeks into it that he didn't approve it. Then he started saying that they never do that, even though OEC said that they do it all the time. I told him I was frustrated and at that point, Rick started yelling at me.

When buying a new construction home, expect delays. My advice is to be flexible and stay in touch with your sales representative as you approach the estimated closing date. I was looking up rentals online when I came across LGI Homes’ ad. Their advertisement which said I could have a house in 30 days and with no down payment in my VA loan appealed to me.

They've been really good at getting out here and taking care of what needed to be taken care of, like the air conditioning and the plumbing. I had some major problems the first couple of days I moved in but because they handled it, it didn't continue to be a big problem. I rate the quality of construction as a 4 out of 5.
Sewer smell in main bathroom do to improper venting, interior doors have tight jam... Install the drain tiles in the inside and the outside of the foundation walls , and install the gravel along the outside of the foundation and footers along the walkout portion of the house. I would like Schumacher homes to repair any water damage and install the proper backerboard so that we can continue with installing the shower walls. I eventually located the issue after vacuuming the room. There were some cracks behind the baseboard. Ants are tiny enough to go through them.
